As a therapist, my job is to help you confront the difficult, be
true to yourself, and untangle the influences of past relationships
and trauma* on your life. I typically use family systems to identify
where your conflicts have developed, cognitive behavioral therapy to
identify various perspectives and encourage more flexible thinking,
and I use EMDR and parts work to help explore the more difficult
challenges to your happiness. For those who would like to do this
exploration through a creative means I also offer Art Therapy.
I would characterize my style as direct but kind. Life is hard,
